I visited the css file and could not find where the problem is. I am not sure where the problem is located and under what function. Perhaps if you see what is happening you can determine exactly where the change has to be made. As I understand this, whatever color you select above the content editor, should emphasize the font in the color you have selected when bold is clicked on. Mine simply converts any color to the gray you see in the post. Thank you, by the way for your response. I appreciate it.

No. I have not fixed it. There is not a “huge” unused space, but it is significant and I would rather utilize it for a couple of 125×125 pix.ads than leave it unused. I have quite a few blog directory badges etc., and if I keep adding more banners in the left side, I will, likely displace my footer, so I need to used the available space.

About the slow-load, I have had a few people tell me this but a few have said it loads quickly for them. I will take a closer look at this and thanks for pointing out the other errors. If they shouldn’t be there, they are causing trouble in some way, I’m sure. Thanks again.

I’ve corrected some of the errors on my site, but I discovered that this was a browser problem. I reloaded Ms Explorer 8 and now the site is stable once again.

Thanks Rvoodoo. I must have picked up one too many errors because the site displayed adequately until two days ago. I would like to try to repair what I can but I, frankly do not understand how to identify which line the validator is specifying when they use numbers: i.e., where do I find line 600? Do I have to go through every file on my site or is there a way to access some master file that shows every line top to bottom? Can you explain?

I have a lot of validation errors and one of the most annoying is the footer of my theme which is misplaced behind the upper part of the body for posts and some advertising on the side bar. Where do I find this error and how can I correct this so the footer will return to its correct location? I would appreciate your advice.

I found exactly this code, but other than the color indicated, I see nowhere else to make the required change. I did replace the existing color, 554F39; with something else but this resulted in no change. Perhaps I am misunderstanding your instructions about editing the image. It is not clear to me what is meant by “lower dark blue section.”
