After Updating – instead of the slider the sheer code was shown on the front page.
It was deifinetly a bug in the compatibility.
The code [wpos_product_categories_slider] does not work with worpress 3.9 !

Yes, there is a shortcode
[wpos_product_categories_slider autoplay=”true” dots=”true” arrows=”true”]
that works well with the older wc version – but failed after the update.
I was looking for a plgin – installed Woo Product Slider and Carousel with category.
But unfortunatly it is not capable to show categories.

Unless there is no solution for this, I can not upgrade the wc ??

Thjank you. But the code refers to product-image. The product-images are all right. The problem is with featured_cvategories

the first 4 images after the header are categories.

By editing the shop-site (home): After writing the text, I chose “insert featured category”.
Then the status quo was created.
What I want now, is to “shrink” the inserted linked images, so that I can arrange 2, 3 categories in one row.
