Here is the deal – When I go to my site at /wp-admin, I see the standard WP login screen and put in my username and password.

The next screen that comes up is plain white with the word “Forbidden” in a black serif font.

I wish it said more.

That did it!

I created a new category.php page and now it works.

I like your enthusiasm. Have you checked out the videos at https://www.lynda.com ? Many of them are free and the ones on beginning CSS and PHP are excellent. Unfortunately, they don’t have any videos on www.ads-software.com.
