I have found away to add H1 to H6 headings in the thead element of my site. The dates on the homepage are each tables theads in H4.

Are you editing the HTML directly or using another plugin? At least in my plugin, there is no UI or functionality to put a heading inside a cell.

When you say “table header”, do you mean the thead element?
In that case, just like table body cells, you can only use normal text.

Unfortunately, it is currently not possible to put anything other than regular text into cells.

Like other setting items, the initial value when the block is inserted cannot be changed. However, if you change the SPN after inserting the block and save the post, that setting will be retained.

I’m considering implementing the functionality to copy styles from one cell to another in a future update.

Can you help me understand how the Global Settings works and if there is a way to apply global settings to a row in a flexible table?

This plugin has global settings to define default styles for tables and cells. Therefore, the style should be automatically applied to cells in newly added rows and columns.

Currently, styles applied to other cells are not inherited when adding new rows or columns. There is also no functionality to copy cell styles to other cells.

I tried testing with the Frost theme, but I can’t reproduce the problem. The custom HTML block I inserted in the footer template works fine.

If this problem is still occurring, I would like to know more about the situation.

• Does this problem also occur with the default theme?
• Does this problem also occur with regular page templates, rather than template parts such as footer?

In version 2.3.0, which I just released, I added an option to display SPN on the keyboard. I hope this is helpful.

Looking at the page, it appears that the problem is caused by a slightly unusual design of the theme’s content area.This issue should not occur with default themes such as Twnery Twenty-Three.

One solution would be to add the following CSS. However, please note that I am not the theme developer, so this may unintentionally affect the layout of your site.

.oxy-stock-content-styles {
    display: block;
}

.single-content-wrapper > .ct-text-block {
	width: 100%;
}

For now, I’m not thinking about implementing an option in this block itself that would disable all settings.

Instead, there is the “content-only” concept that allows editing only the content. This means that if a block is surrounded by a specific block with that attribute, only the contents of the block inside can be edited.

Flexible Table Block does not currently support this behavior, but it may support it in the future.
