I really do appreciate your help – thank you. I’ll double-check this. It isn’t just the Google maps API that won’t save, but also default ‘event category’ box and default locations box too when I try to change defaults. I think it is a JS issue as has been suggested. The ‘save button’ simply won’t save anything….

Thanks again. I’m thinking it could be a multisite issue (sorry, I should have mentioned this – penninekids.uk) as I checked with another single install website (shepleyvillage.org) and everything is working fine.

I do think it is a JS issue. I’ll make sure the installer is run on each of the sub-sites correctly on the multi-site installation ie. ensure I have configured properly.

Thank you for your prompt response – much appreciated. I’ll take another look as I am not getting any other errors. It looks as if the ‘save’ button isn’t saving any updates in the general settings. Checked my browser console and all seems fine. I can save information on other plugins. I’ll run some more tests today. Thank you Will

It’s strange that this has started happening as plugin been fine for 4 months – thought it might have been a caching issue (I use SuperCache) but doesn’t seem to be the cause. I’m also working through MySql database removing any old tables from plugins that I am no longer using….

Thanks for letting me know regarding the upper limit – the slowing down issue is expected so thanks for confirming.

Let me keep an eye on the failure issue for the moment. Everything seems to be working though I am using the last versions of both WordPress and BuddyPress for now. I just want to eliminate a couple of other issues which may be the problem… I’ll report back

Hi – I’m getting similar issue where the plugin just fails and reveals everything – reinstall and reboot system solves the issue but it happens again. Don;t appear to be getting any error logs ??

Same issue here – I’ve checked with several other sites running the plugin and it appears they are having same problem – any news on a solution please?

Did you get a respond to this as I am having the same issue + comments on activity stream not working ??

Update – the plugin works with BuddyPrss Template pack but the links do not show in the update section of the activity stream. I’d like to use the plugin but can’t get the icons to appear.

This must be some kind of bug as I have experienced it too. Unfortunately my site is too large to manually edit them out.
