    Also, deleted the plugin and that didn’t work either… sigh. I’ll try the other things you suggested too

    Thanks a ton. I tried deactivating supercache, didn’t seem to work, and I got this weird message when I deactivated it:

    sorry to keep going on about this, thanks for all your help so far – but i opened my website in a different browsing program – the image is still unchanged. also, i deleted my cache and the image is still unchanged. i use the WP super cache plugin, do you think i should try disabling it and then deleting the cache again?

    odd. i replaced the image, and when i go to the image directly, it shows the one i want, but when i go to my website, the header shows the default LightWord image instead of the one i uploaded :/

    thank you very much

    so i can’t just upload a new header-image.png to that folder? it won’t overwrite the pre-existing one?
