Sorry, 2.3.2 did not fully fix it. We were not sending a MailPoet newsletter when it happened this time. But the site is alive and kicking, so don’t let this spoil your weekend.

I will. The next one is due April 6th. We installed IA about a month ago. A newsletter was sent once before without this error occurring. But that was before 2.3.0 and I have changed a setting since then: enabled ‘Track logged in users’.
Hi @bensibley,
That returns a value of 75. I have sites on 2 other hosting comanies and they also return 75. They are similar though, all based on Plesk and Litespeed.
Thanks for clarifying, @lynnjat7. We’re currently very happy with the Italian alternative. The next time I need a newsletter setup I’ll check back here to see what the outcome of the A12s rethinking is.
To make us come back anything related to Google or tracking should be absent or at least strictly optional. We don’t like the Pied Pipers tune and we don’t want to look at the Internet through his colored goggles.
This is how the people from Ninja Forms do it: they publish a link to the beta (pre-release copy they call it) right in the support topic here on www.ads-software.com. The users affected by ‘fatal errors’ or other severe issues are always eager to test and report back their results, usually within a few hours. If no negative side effects are being reported, the fix is published as a new release 3-5 days later. Example.
Hello @geraltrivia,
Thanks for clarifying this. Over the past week we have evaluated alternatives to MailPoet and we think we have found a plugin that is still capable of sending newsletters to inform our members, instead of campaigns to track people and trick them into impulse buys.

In reply to: [The Events Calendar] OpenStreetMap instead of Google Maps?Adding to that: yesterday, March 6 2024 the Digital Markets Act (DMA) became effective in Europe and in the course of the year extra steps in the Digital Services Act will be taken. These will make Google’s business model* become a lot less profitable. So embedding Google Maps might become expensive or they might even stop offering it.
So this is another reason to have an alternative.

In reply to: [The Events Calendar] RSS feed reverse orderHello @d0153,
Thanks for the update. If I can help by doing beta testing, let me know.
In the meantime I have come across this topic on your old forum. I tried the code provided there in my child theme’s functions.php, but it doesn’t change the order. Maybe TEC itself has undergone changes since 2018 causing that fix to work no longer.

In reply to: [The Events Calendar] RSS feed reverse orderHello @tristan083,
- PHP 8.1.22
- WordPress 6.4.3
- The Events Calendar 6.3.3.1
- Theme and Version ColorMag Pro 4.1.4
But as I wrote, I’m seeing the same issue at your demo calendar feed.

In reply to: [Security Optimizer - The All-In-One Protection Plugin] cannot delete pluginHello @plamenm,
I have no problem deleting other plugins. In fact there were 2 others by Siteground: Speed Optimizer and ….. This site was moved from Siteground to another hosting about a month ago.
Those rules are not present in wp-config.php. But I noticed something else. Could this be related:
/** Sets up WordPress vars and included files. */
@include_once('/var/lib/sec/wp-settings-pre.php'); // Added by SiteGround WordPress management system
require_once ABSPATH . 'wp-settings.php';
@include_once('/var/lib/sec/wp-settings.php'); // Added by SiteGround WordPress management systemIn all my other 6 sites
wp-settings.php
is in the same folder as wp-config.php and none of them has awp-settings-pre.php
