I’ve had the same problem here.
I’ve even downloaded a variable product export to compare and then deleted the old products to work from a blank slate. Still nothing.
As pointed out, there is no option to click “Used For Variation” in the default standard WooCommerce export. Is this an additional column that we need to create?
I’ve seen this article, but I think it’s outdated as the solutions mentioned in there don’t seem to work either. https://docs.woocommerce.com/document/product-csv-import-suite-column-header-reference/#section-3
