Hi esmi,
Thanks for your reply, I have already tried the first 2 suggestions you made but to no avail.
So I went straight on to your 3rd suggestion…
– resetting the plugins folder by FTP or PhpMyAdmin. Sometimes, an apparently inactive plugin can still cause problems.
I have managed to locate the PhpMyAdmin folder and follow the instructions for deactivating the plugins. However, when I returned to my WordPress dashboard I now get the following error messages…
Warning: htmlspecialchars() [function.htmlspecialchars]: charset `UTF-7′ not supported, assuming iso-8859-1 in /home/sussexp/public_html/wp-includes/formatting.php on line 2751
Warning: htmlspecialchars() [function.htmlspecialchars]: charset `UTF-7′ not supported, assuming iso-8859-1 in /home/sussexp/public_html/wp-includes/formatting.php on line 2751
Warning: htmlspecialchars() [function.htmlspecialchars]: charset `UTF-7′ not supported, assuming iso-8859-1 in /home/sussexp/public_html/wp-includes/formatting.php on line 2751
is this okay?
