When I use the JavaScript console in Google Chrome, there’s no page errors when the page is loaded. After the form has been submitted, one error loads:

Uncaught TypeError: $.isPlainObject is not a function

from /contact-form-7/includes/js/scripts.js

Any ideas if there’s something wrong there? I’ve updated to the latest WordPress and CF7.

Thanks for the feedback. I’ve disabled all plugins other than CF7 to see if that was an issue, but the CF7 form still didn’t submit. I’ll read through the link further to see if there’s anything else that might help.

Yes, the from email field seems to be a common problem, but I’ve ensured that the email used there is [email protected], which is the same server as the website. I’ve also tested it with Gmail and hotmail, just in case, but it still didn’t work for me.

I’ve gone through the email issues link, but none of the troubleshooting tips resolve the issue. I’m stumped. More stumped that it was working before 100% of the time and now it appears to be working less than 50% of the time.

I may need to review the content, but then I refer again to it working before without any issues.

Hi, yes I was using ip_on_sent_ok in the additional settings area, which was working fine, and still works intermittently (some users have submitted the form somehow, but I can’t get a successful send, and also others can’t).

I’ve removed the redirect, but still can’t get a successful send, even though the green box at the bottom of the page says ‘successful’ after submitting.

Not sure why it’s intermittent. Are there any other settings I can check? Puzzled!

Hi, yes the ‘from’ email is (and always was) [email protected] to avoid any spam/SPF issues. No settings have changed, and we’re getting intermittent responses (two came through over the weekend, but when I tested it today – nothing!).

Let me know if there’s anything else I can test. The FAQs don’t seem to help me resolve this issue.
