Well, it took QUITE a bit of doing… but I managed to get it working. Samboll, your suggestion was the most helpful… even if I did have to delete all my installations of Apache, mysql, and php and start fresh to pull it off… as well as disable Microsoft’s IIS services (not really sure why they were installed in the first place).
