I’m working on a site for a client. It is a brand new installation of WordPress 3.7.1 on GoDaddy. I have the exact same issue regarding images. Using Media, any images uploaded do not show up. Just blank white space. If you go to edit the image shows up. If you copy the image’s URL to a browser, you get a 404 page instead of the image.
I’ve done everything everyone has done above. I’ve checked all the permissions. I’ve checked that hotlinking is disabled. I’ve disabled all plugins and switched to twenty-thirteen. I even tried changing the htaccess file as per the post above: /public_html/wp-content/uploads/.htaccess.disabled.
None of these things have worked. I’m still unable to get images to show up on the site. The site URL is https://tlalexanderauthor.com. Does anyone have anything else to try?
