Thank you, James. I just saw this. Lots has changed because of massive delays in the project. I’m on theme 53880, apparently an older theme, not supported anymore or so it seems. I cannot find where the header image lives, where the footer text lives, or where to turn off the sidebar. I’ve talked to two builders who worked no the site prior, and they apparently did not work on that angle. I have to find the original creator because these other two people have no idea where these features are.

When I go to the customizer, and click on the header, I get nothing to work with. I don’t see images or anything. It’s a bit frustrating.

Thank you very much. This is all really new to me, so pardon what could be dumb questions.

Our client is hosted on GoDaddy. I could call them to find out whether they offer staging/test sites or not. Do you know off the top of your head if they do that as a regular part of their hosting service?

When you say “on your own server”, and “in another directory tree on your current host”, what do you mean exactly?
