Ive written these two files manually in notepad++ and uploaded them then set perm. to 777 . and still get the probs . below

I’m at a loss what to do next as followed all instructions but to no avail. Hope this makes sense and we can find a remedy a

Aha….right – I will try this and see – Thanks jimlay … it has been a real pain as most of my wordpress sites are set to static pages for the home page!!!

In the End I upgraded to WP2.5 and still had the WSOD. I then upgraded the mod rewrite to what it is on the permalink code on default setting onto .htaccess and most of the site returned !!!

4 hours of utter stress

I now have to upgrade all of the out date plugins !!!

when it rains it pours!!!!

ok i know why the white screen is there – all my themes have vanished from admin even though they are still there on remote server ??? but how and why I dont know. seems that wp misconfigured as I activated S Cache now i am really stuck !!!

Any one know how to get out of this one !!!

did you mean you deleted the all the themes and tried again up loading them ????

Wp e-commerce is I think after extensive work the best option for a web shop within wordpress. It seems to have really come on in the last few months . Like all Plugins it has perticular issues but is working really well for me now .

Hi Drood I think you have 2 options
1) use the page widget underneath the navigation and what ever pages you have created will show up.

2) use a program like notepad++ (not notepad) to open nav_menu.php and include the pages you want in there…
Ive normally just copied the second line and pasted it under depending on how many pages I want to show up…then upload them back onto your server.
2a) you could edit this file within wordpress but I never have!!

Thank you Allen, I know which two sites you where looking at … mine and you have done good my friend !!! . I do have 20+ plugins in the folder but only about 7 activated …anyway the fix works great

I would’nt worry about it …I use WLW a lot and also advise all my PC clients to use it. WLW is I have to admit brilliant and is the only reason I turn my PC on . I dislike Microsoft and all that they stand for but this is a very easy, free and great tool for sprucing up the content of your blog. I havnt found a blog editor as good for editing Both posts and pages.

Hi djr3110 I have been using wp e-commerce and am struggling to get support when I need it the most . I have built a shop using wp e-commerce its really easy to use but buggy and when a problem occurs its not easy to get support. I have spent 4 months developing the site which would have only taken 2 using OSCommerce mostly due to support issues. I have also been looking at a smaller and simpler plugin that only allows 1 product per page ..its called eshop ive not used it yet but sounds just right for you see below:

I know danatstadiumvol has wp e-commerce plugin but does any one else have this plugin installed as I think from all the other posts so far that I have read it come back to this plugin.

I too are unable to post and feel this is related to Wp e-commerce ??? What do you think??

Hi sheatsb and others I too have wp e-commerce and have the same problem with the taxonomy issues. If it is related to wp e-commerce then this is a further problem as this plugin is not very well supported by the developers. Do you think its worth posting this post to them ?

Also how many people have this commerce plugin and are having the same problem?
