    You’re kidding right?

This is a known issue and it’s pissed people off so bad they’ve left WordPress all together. We are feed up too and moving sites little by little.

The issue is the stripping of line break code like   <br> etc It’s been a thorn for us for over a decade. The second a user switches from TEXT to VISUAL in the editor, wham, any code trying to create a little extra white space is stripped out! Sucks #(&*@!

That is without a custom patch or ANOTHER Plugin!

Yes, but I’ve had trouble with your upgrades since 1.9

I think I see why now. See the folder structure for 1.9 and 2.0 below, they are not close and your newest upgrade is just like 2.0 below.

I don’t know if you saw the web site before, but the frame of the image rotator was shifted almost 2 inches to the right overlapping our web form. This is exactly what happens each time I’ve tried to update your plugin. For now I just went back to the 1.9.13 backup and it’s fine, but yes it does create security issues, unfortunately, so we’ll have to look for a different solution at some point. Trouble is, I’m not the site dev, so it’s a struggle.

    Any insight would be great.

    Thanks Rachel!

Real quick, I’m sure I can figure it out, but for SE visitors can you post instructions to install the update without access to the wp-admin, since it won’t be accessible.

I have the exact same issue.

I just updated all my plugins on a new site https://www.projectfreedomblog.com using 3.9.1. I don’t remember the theme and can’t check it now of course. Maybe Clean Retina or Catch Box.

Error Code: Parse error: syntax error, unexpected T_STATIC, expecting T_STRING or T_VARIABLE or ‘$’ in /home/content/28/9856828/html/projectfreedomblog/wp-content/plugins/async-social-sharing/async-share.php on line 53

Here’s a list of all the plugins that I just updated all at once:

What in the sam-hell happened to clicking the image and going to the advanced setting with a 3rd click to justify the text wrap around the left or the right of the image!?!? That worked just fine.
