In reply to: [WooCommerce] Compatibility with WP 3.8Hi Chris,
If you work with one language only, there’s no problems with WP 3.8 but if you run a multilingual store and use qTranslate you can have some weird issue.
I solved just yesterday for my new multilingual store using a new free plugin that permits to run woocommerce using qTranslate.
If this is your case you can give a test to this new plugin https://www.ads-software.com/plugins/qtranslate-support-for-woocommerce/Forum: Plugins
In reply to: [WooCommerce] qtranslate – translate attribute termsI suggest you to use this plugin just updated that works very well and it’s faster than any other.

I wish it helps you too.

In reply to: [WooCommerce] qtranslate – translate attribute termsYou cannot. I made several tests and qTranslate is incompatible with woocommerce unless you buy their extension which is still in beta and also state that some part will not be translated.
You have to buy WPML to make a true compatibility for multilingual site otherwise, you can do like me.I used 2 language in the same attribute separated by a forward slash attr1/attr2 it will be shown both in the product page but is a less issue for me.
Beware, that woocommerce has problem with 3.8 and qtranslateAngelo

In reply to: [WooCommerce] Help with fatal error on WP with plugin WoocomerceI have a stunning problem all yesterday then changing theme version apparently worked fine but this morning again, in backend anything works but when I test in frontend it says sorry seems that this option doesn’t exist while the option is correctly set.
I suppose that something inside plugin is not working properly with WP 3.8
or worst the guys of woocommerce put something to block it after a time if you don’t use their theme or extensions…And I think latter is more probably. They don’t give support unless you pay and people try to find a solution by themselves….Forum: Plugins
In reply to: [TheCartPress eCommerce Shopping Cart] Images for dynamic options NOT SHOWINGI have the same problem but it would be better if Inigo could give is solution and more better if can create an update to fix it.
Besides this problem the cart is the best one I tested in last months and is really compatible with qTranslate.looking forward to hearing from you

In reply to: [qTranslate] How can I translate Widgets?Hi Paola,
I confirm you that whever you cannot have it automatically translated you can use the hard code [:it or other language] like wrote above Frankmireault. I lost many hours asking for support not only here and by the end for some reason eventhough you have correct .po/.mo translation sometimes must hard code title and whatsoever I did it in my test site for English/Italian/German and in my new website for italian/spanish/english, similar suggestion you will find in the qTranslate forum.
I wish it helps you.
Ciao e buon lavoro.

In reply to: [qTranslate] WordPress 3.7 ?@qTranslate developer
If it is compatible with WP 3.7 Please, make the update ASAP to avoid of putting hands in your php files for the sake of the plugin stability.
——
1- I suggest to make this trick of changing the version in qtranslate.php before upgrading to WP 3.7 avoiding of the plugins deactivate.
2- In case the plugin has already deactivated because you installed WP 3.7 it takes a long task to change it. It happened to me last time after upgrading to WP 3.6.
In this case, You must delete it first. Go to permalink, re-save. Clean the browser cache and eventually super-cache plugin.
Then change qtranslate.php in notepad or similar and re-install it via FTP the plugin. Refresh your plugin page and it has to work again. It’s a longer way but it worked for me.
Maybe can be useful to someone.Regards,

In reply to: [WP StrapFolio] translationHi Zulf,
Nice to have a quick reply, this means that your support is very efficiently how it transpire from the polite answers you gave to people in previous tickets.
I made a little test with TheCartPress, I also translated it in my language, but there are some little incompatibility with your theme but I’m not a great WP developer but just a simple user.
I will post a ticket in your site.Regards,
AngeloAfter updating it to latest version it appeared that was missing the .htaccess file. I created and added the file.
Then, checking the website I had the same problem of missing the pictures. Then I went in my server via FTP and renamed the new .htaccess file and anything is again in place. So, the problem is in the file and not in theme or whatsoever. The instructions to be added are not correct in someway or create this conflict.
I’m sure you can fix it, I’m not a developer but a simple user and I made several tests before write these few lines.
