guys be very careful when installing security plugins , one thing ive learned in my hacking days is that one of the most easy way to hack people stuff is by offering false security solutions ,
because they are desperate & they do not pay to much attention

one of my favorite method was to simply ask (or give them the option ) somebody so instal my hack or virus ( of course they didn’t knew what it was )

* second was to do something useful, offer it for free , & later using it as a hack or backdoor

what i found is that you really need to remove all external site links from your timthumb file & put a false on allow external

ok. so how do we make this update to TimThumb ?

i deleted those files last week , all was fine, but now it seems i can see any pictures in my websites , that are with external content

in ftp i see that timthumb.php was modified yesterday !

are you inserting the name of the new site when you are creating it or you leave it blank ?

yes, i figured that out, but is not working

thing is im only having problems with local images, im thinking there also might be an importing problem , images are there but im loosing the liks on some of them & others have the links but do not appear

& querying throw sql is a drag

im working to implement it

i want to use it because it gives me performance in my work , it you have totally different websites there is no speed performance improvement from visitor side, if this is what you are referring to

im managing over 20 websites , 13 of them are clones, + different content

i think this is the only case where you can get improved speed tor ur visitors, when they visit some of the cloned sites

also will make ur future work easier & faster

no more upgrading 20+ wp instals, themes, post, DB & other stuff

for just 5 totally different sites, u might want to make it manually

my hosting doesn’t support Wildcard Subdomains , i went for a subfolder instalation

i still need some help with :

how do i point the new domain to the new created website

ex: main site.com

ive made mainsite.com/test
but it doesnt make me a folder , do i point site2.com to mainsite.com/test & thatis it or do i point it to mainsite.com

second problem, the database, … im guessing is using just one .. importing tools doesnt work as it shoud, i dont see thums useing it

as i said the first time i will have some clones , ive tried to use a cloning plugin, doesnt work that well

lets say i figure it out with the cloning, how do i add the content of the database from mainsite2 to mainsite/mainsite2 ?

im having the same problem, just instaled mu ..with all the steps, result, same problem
