With the most recent release it finally worked with the memory bump plugin.

I have had my host reset the site to the latest backup they had as for some reason my backup failed to restore properly.

Is there anywhere I can find a breakdown of the server requirements for WP? It just seems strange to me that this update fails no matter what method I choose.

In efforts not to have my issue lost in cyberspace on these forums I am bumping this up as there seems to be very little information available as to just what the web host has to have in order to work 100% efficiently with wordpress along with solving the issue of the Automatic Upgrade feature.

I played with file permissions and am now getting new errors, some progress but I have now hit a brick wall.
