In reply to: [Yoast SEO] Yoast SEO hides certain blocks in WoocommerceIf it helps anyone – I have been working with the Yoast bug team and I have been able to limit this to the following 2 plugins. Wordfence Security and Mailpoet.
After many checks and re-checks it seem either Mailpoet or Wordfence – when 1 plugin is deleted the other works fine with Yoast and the product page show up fine. If they are both active then it causes the original error we reported? So it is the combined position of both of these plugins being active that causes Yoast SEO to affect the product page to not work and show the SEO boxes correctly. Either plugin on its own will not cause the problem with Yoast SEO. So Yoast, Mailpoet & Wordfnece Security all active causes an error with Yoast not showing the page correctly. Which one has the conflict I am not sure – but the common error is what Yoast is activated with either of the other plugins. If that makes sense?

In reply to: [Yoast SEO] Yoast SEO hides certain blocks in WoocommerceHere is the Blank product page and the Strange SEO tabs that do not work or pull down
Even though the SEO tabs don’t work, the page shows up on our website Ok and if you drag your mouse across the screen, the script is still there for the product page just white on white background – see following images
This glitch needs some serious addressing as it seems to be a common bug.
Any help or guidance would be appreciated

In reply to: [Yoast SEO] Post Editor: Yoast box is empty with no optionsThis is similar to the issue I am having. Your screen shot is exactly the same as what i have reported to the forum. Going to troubleshooting doe not seem to help in any way. The problem still persists!
I will have to delete Yoast and use a competitor product from no on, since no-one from Yoast is answering these messages on the forums at all!

In reply to: Woocommerce has suddenly stopped sending emails for new orderCedcommerce – your fix seems to have worked – Brilliant
It works with me making a repeat order notification – and has worked half a dozen times with that very quickly!
I have also put back the email settings from Text back to HTML and it still works quickly. Emails come straight in to my inbox! So all we need now is to see a genuine New Order come in to our site this evening and to see if the fix works for that too!
Good news so far – many thanks for that neat fix!

In reply to: Woocommerce has suddenly stopped sending emails for new orderPlasmax
Thanks for your reply. Tried your suggestion to send only Text – but this did not make any difference at all! Sorry – still nothing coming thru.We have now performed the latest Woocommerce update today & even this hasn’t changed anything – still NO Emails coming thru! Over the last 4 weeks we have had 4 emails come thru out of 50+ orders. So some do come thru but not many. We can sometimes Force the emails to come thru if we open an order and force another email notification in the actions box. This works about 15% of the time not more.
So something is broken somewhere or the ISP is blocking most and only letting the occasional one thru?
This is killing our business to work in this way!
Wish I had never adopted WordPress and Woocommerce now!Very frustrated!
Cedcommerce – I have tried your fix….so lets hope it works in the next few hours when the next order arrives.
Thank you all, we do appreciate your help and assistance keep trying ideas

In reply to: Woocommerce has suddenly stopped sending emails for new orderWell I am still getting the problems! I didn’t want to add any more plugins at this stage as I wanted to check what was happenening in all events before moving forward and I have found out the following!
I upgraded to the latest WordPress version 4.4 Clifford in the hope that this might clear the email problem up – but it hasn’t!+
I do get the odd occasional random email from WooCommerce when an order comes in but it is probably 12% of the time!
I get all my emails from WordPress perfectly for new users and posts etc so WordPress works correctly as far as I can see.
The other strange point is that if I open a new order and manually click to action an email for a new order then this will come through – some of the time maybe 60%. Sometimes it doesn’t make it. But if I repeat the sned new order action a few times eventually it comes through. But this doesn’t work all the time???
So I have a Woo Commerce shop that occasionaly sends out email alerts but not regularly. Most orders do not generate any email within WooCommerce unless manually regenerated via the “New Order” tab! The whole thing is completely random and Woo Commerce is just not sending out the emails as it used to do up until 4 weeks ago!
Can anyone actually help with this or is it just another post/complaint that gets ignored?

In reply to: Woocommerce has suddenly stopped sending emails for new orderI am back in the office today and by magic this morning New Order emails started to work again – by magic>?
I went back to some of the last orders and tried to pushed “New Order” email from inside woo commerce. One of them actually came through OK but the other one has not yet?So something is half working it seems even though I have not used your plugin yet.
I will upload the plugin this afternoon later and give you a report.
Thanks

In reply to: Subscribers vs UsersSeems to do exactly what I need it to so I have already downloaded the plugin and will do some learning tonight. Have checked the screens out and you choose a tick box to use wordpress users/subscribers lists or your Mailpoet subscribers. seems simple?
From the MailPoet press blurb……
?Send your latest posts automatically
?Autoresponders, i.e. “Send email 3 days after someone subscribes”
?Send emails to your WordPress users
?Start collecting subscribers in 2-clicks with our sign up widget
?Single or double opt-in, your choice
?Import subscribers in 2 steps
?Get stats for your newsletter: opens, clicks, unsubscribes
?Drag and drop subscription form designer
?Your newsletters look the same in Gmail, iPhone, Android, Outlook, Yahoo, Hotmail, etc.
?Send with your web host, Gmail, any SMTP, like SendGrid, Amazon SES Mandrill, etc…
?Segment your lists based on unopened, opened and clickedForum: Fixing WordPress
In reply to: Subscribers vs UsersI am sure some of these are spam! However we do post aggressively on Facebook and G+ etc. and other car technical forums so we would expect a good number of followers. But recently we have noticed bunches of registrations landing at the same time 6, 7 or even 10 that are all “.ru” we have been deleting these as we don’t sell or deal with Russia and guessed these were spam registrations.
I have had alook around and seen that “Mail Poet” seems to be the next best WordPress plug in that can utilise the existing User lists and database from WordPress without any export or import! An important feature for me as I want to stay within the WordPress framework as much as possible if I can – without copying and duplicating work and lists to a 3rd party plugin
So I am going to try MailPoet and see how this gets us going?
Thanks for your help and guidance/direction and I hope this post on the forum gives some answers and clarity to the questions of “How do you send a blog post or page to the WordPress users & subscribers lists”
Now we have the answers.
Many Thanks. Steve. Woodypeck.com

In reply to: Subscribers vs UsersHi James
Thanks for the suggestion. Found Subscribe2 already by chance and it has been sold to a development house who now sell on your email list – probably why WordPress is not happy to recommend it.Regards the email-subscribers link by Gopiplus on looking at reviews there are some concerns about SQL Injection attack on the forum along with a few other problems of concern.
So if there isn’t a direct plugin that uses wordpress email subscription – which is a huge shame for simplicity! Then it seems a clunky / bulky email subscription plugin with full features and to import my users subscription list is the only way to go?

In reply to: Subscribers vs UsersJust to clarify – my main aim is that when I make a Post in WordPress I want it to be sent out to all my 1,255 subscribers that I have already registered to my site.

In reply to: Subscribers vs UsersHi James
Many Thanks for your detailed explanation – that sorts out any confusion or misconceptions that I had regards Subscribers and updates. It is not very clear on any WordPress documents nor Forums so I hope this helps others answer their questions too.So to follow on from your answers above – what is the one subscription plugin that uses the WordPress users system as I would like to stick with the WordPress system as much as possible?
Many Thanks

In reply to: How to show Feedback in my Admin panel on my Site?Just realised the “Feedback” in Admin on the dashboard is from the Jetpack plugin. So have looked through some forum posts about Jetpack and noted someone said they had posted there feedback to their RSS feed by accident?
This is all way past me to understand – but does this mean by changing some code in the editor that I can actually show this feedback?
Is it possible to have the same functionality as the comments posts with this feedback post?
Thanks in advance
