Which web hosting company are you using?

wordpress.com is different from www.ads-software.com. If you want a free website then go to .com. If you have an account with a web hosting company then you need .org

I think the problem lies with MySQL hostname. It is currently pointing to localhost which would imply a local installation on your own computer.

As esmi says, check the details with your webhost.

Once done just go to https://wimsal.com/wordpress/ and the installation wizard should start.

I always believe you are better off installing WordPress yourself rather than rely on the a webhosting companies self-install version.

To install wordpress on an existing website, eg. https://www.example.com/blog then you’d need to create a new directory called blog and then copy all the wordpress files to this subfolder. Then when you go to this url the install wizard should begin.

There maybe a setting within your web hosting account to specify which version of PHP to use.

Do you mean wp-config.php?

If so, then you need to open up wp-config-sample.php and enter your database details and then save the file as wp-config.php.

Finally upload this file to the root installation folder.

Here’s how I would have set it up:

Create a folder called lareinapastelera
Create a subfolder called LRP

Make sure your domain name points to lareinapastelera. Therefore all the files for this website should be in this folder.

Each domain name you own should point to it’s own folder.

Copy all the WordPress files to LRP. Make sure there isn’t a subfolder called WordPress in here.

Now when you go to https://www.lareinapastelera.com/LRP the installation for WordPress should start.
