In reply to: [WooCommerce] How to automatically delete products from trash?Hi Shameem,
thanks for your answer.
I think there is a misunderstanding, however. My problem lies in the fact that the line
define(‘EMPTY_TRASH_DAYS’, 1 );
does not delete my WooCommerce products in trash as it should be as far as I understand. The same is stated in the first two links you provided – the discussion is only about how to differentiate between certain post types when you *don’t* want them to be treated normally.
I also tried the Empty Trash Time plugin already – no function. When I use the automatic delete function of the WP Optimize plugin, however, the products get deleted. Support states that there is no difference normally between the stuff in trash. I cannot use that plugin though because it interfered with my existing caching setup.
So the links from Stackexchange and Stackoverflow as well as WP Optimize support say the one line in wp-config should delete all post types. You say otherwise and in reality it only works with WP Optimize which I cannot use.
Do you have any idea what the probem could be? Or do you have another line for the wp-config, maybe with this method the WooCommerce products need to be addressed seperately?
Thanks a lot!

Thank you very much for giving me the right direction in this strange topic. Much appreciated!

In reply to: Cannot filter for unattached images in media libraryThanks for your tips!
Unfortunately the error persists. So it is not theme nor plugins. I also realized that newer unattached images get filtered correctly. Something had gone wrong in the past with the other pictures I guess.
Is there some plugin that could fix that or maybe more broadly fix the database? Anything you could recommend?
Thanks a lot

In reply to: [LiteSpeed Cache] Best practice for WooCommerceOk I will try that out. That is what I did first when using stale cache and then purging everything.
Two last questions: does every single WooCoomerce product get purged also? Or can I somehow prevent that? Because there nothing changes.
And secondly: how bad on server resources is purging anyway? Or is not purging the problem but the re-creation of the sites when not currently cached?
Thank you so much.

In reply to: [LiteSpeed Cache] Best practice for WooCommerceConstantly meaning the products coming in at batches.
Like 5 new products – 5 minutes pause – 70 new products – 5 minutes pause – 23 new products – and so on. This over 2 – 10 hours a day.
They do not need to be online right away. If there is an option to collect them and then put them online every 30 minutes or hour that would be also fine. If that is possible. Otherwise any best setting would be highly appreciated.

In reply to: [WooCommerce] Hide products from WooCommerce Product Archive PageHi Shameem,
thanks for your answer.
Yes, that works for the main shop page. But I have the problem on the product archive pages. Is it possible to deactivate the loop on those too?
I understand. Much appreciated!
Thanks Victor, I will put that in my functions.php and schedule it after the import is done.
Can you tell me how (and how often) normally the indexation is triggered? And where that information is stored (database or separate file)?
Thanks a lot
Stephan

In reply to: [Product Filter by WBW] Not showing all WooCommerce productsDo you have any tipps on that?

In reply to: [Product Filter by WBW] Not showing all WooCommerce productsHi Nick,
thanks for your fast answer!
I checked everything again and then I pressed the “play” button in settings > Index product parameters. That seems to do the trick. As I can create custom cron jobs, what time frame should I choose for this when there are products constantly coming in?
I have a second problem now: If I have the filter activated, the mobile view of my site is not loading on mobile, which is kind of odd. If I deactivate your filter plugin, it loads. Kind of strange. The theme is GeneratePress. Do you have a tipp for that?
Thanks a lot,
Stephan
