I am using the free Zakra theme, the following might apply.

There is a setting in the theme customiser if you go to “Customizing ? Theme Options Primary Menu : Menu Item” there is a drop-down menu “Active Menu Item Style” where you can select “None”.

I am using the Zakra theme.

In your WordPress dashboard if you go to the page (Pages – All Pages) at the bottom of your page there is “Page Settings” and if you select “Page Header” there is a tick box called “Enable Page Header” to show or hide the page header.
