I am also trying to get to the bottom of my comments awaiting moderation (2618 today!) and cannot. Any ideas how?

I cannot figure out how to upload Akismet and get functionality from it. I don’t see anywhere that it is active, and it certainly is not catching any spam. When I try to upload it, wp replies that is is already uploaded. Where do I look? What am I looking for?

can anyone help me install the akismet plugin? I downloaded it yesterday but cannot figure out how/what to do with it now. Still getting up to 500 spmas a day and cannot moderate any comments

Now when I try to sign in I am told that my password is incorrect and I need to have cookies enabled. My password is correct and I have cookies enabled. Does this site actually work?

I was updating a post on April 21 about 10am when it froze. Since then I have been unable to access my blogsite from my home computer. I have had no filters installed or made any changes. Everyone else can access it. When I try to sign into wordpress under my username for the site, I am told I have an invalid password.
Anyone else have this happen? ANy ideas?
