In reply to: [WP User Profiles] Great, but not working with other pluginsHey John James Jacoby,
An alternative solution might be introducing possibility to show tabs based on user roles. So plugin could have admin dashboard / plugins / WP User Profiles / Settings-page. On this settings-page it is possible to select on which user-roles the plugin/tabs should be active. On the not selected item(s), the default wordpress user profile is used without tabs.
Proposed solution makes sure clients, authors, editors, etc have beautifull user profile, while website admin can still edit all fields introduced by third party plugins.
What do you think?
Kind regards, wp-fred

In reply to: [WP User Profiles] Great, but not working with other pluginsHey John James Jacoby,
The plugin does not work well with WP User Avatar, but it does work properly with your own plugin called WP User Avatars (=just one letter difference)
So thank you for pointing me out!
But unfortunually the plugin does not work with:
– Restrict Author Posting plugin.Can this be solved?
Kind regards, wp-fred
Hi,
I noticed the plugin “Admin Menu Editor” which I had installed does not work together with “WP Admin UI Customize”. After de-activating “Admin Menu Editor” plugin, the “WP Admin UI Customize” plugin worked fine.
So I now only use “WP Admin UI Customize” plugin and removed “Admin Menu Editor” plugin, because this last one is not realy needed.
But my message, maybe shygirl51 has installed “Admin Menu Editor” plugin or some other ‘Admin-menu’ related plugin as well, and should just de-activate it.
Kind regards, Fred

In reply to: [YoImages] Notice: Undefined index: yoimg_attachment_metadataHello Sirulli,
Thank you for your quick responce.
I am using Firefox 34.05, but the same behavior is with IE10.0.
But after disabling in the wp-config.php the WP_DEBUG option to true, at least the crop window appears on the screen.So in wp-config.php I changed:
define('WP_DEBUG', true);
to
define('WP_DEBUG', false);
So this point is resolved.

In reply to: [YoImages] Notice: Undefined index: yoimg_attachment_metadataI did a fresh installation of WP41 (English version) on my WAMP-server 32bits (Apache : 2.4.9 MySQL : 5.6.17 PHP : 5.5.12) and installed the plugin YoImages which is the only activated plugin. I also enabled WP-DEBUG.
When setting the featured image, I click on [Select Files] to upload my image. After uploading I can see the title and ALT-text is filled with the title of the posting (very nice!). Secondly I click on [Edit crop formats]. Next I click on tab called “Post thumbnail”, now the ‘Notice Undefined index’ appears. And there is no area to select in order to crop the image.
Please help.
When checking the FF or IE console logging I can see the message:
JQMIGRATE: jQuery.browser is deprecated
What does it mean? Please help.

In reply to: [Enhanced Media Library] Choose category while uploading filesHello Nadia,
Maybe you can also have a look at: https://www.ads-software.com/plugins/wp-users-media/ for the functionality requested. Only this plugin is missing the great filtering and structure capabilities of your plugin.

In reply to: [Enhanced Media Library] Choose category while uploading filesHello Nadia,
I am setting up website for photographers (pure hobby). I do want each photgrapher to be able to post his/her own blogpost and attach there own photos to the blogpost. To keep thinks structured I have selected the https://www.ads-software.com/plugins/author-category/ plugin which makes sure each photographer is publishing in his/her own category.
To keep the media library structured I would like to use your plugin https://www.ads-software.com/plugins/enhanced-media-library/ but it looks like it missing some functionality. It would be great if your plugin would work in conjunction with https://www.ads-software.com/plugins/author-category/ plugin OR that your plugin would take the Taxonomies into account when uploading the Media Files.
What I mean is, when an ‘Author’ is going to upload an image, the image should be placed automatically is the same category where the Author belongs to. In this way I can keep the Media Library structured and each photographer has his/her own ‘area’ in the media Library.
Is or would this be possible?
