In reply to: [WP-Lister Lite for Amazon] oh the errors….I’m very sorry for the troubles you were experiencing, but I should mention that we replied within 3 minutes to your support request, where you reported the same issue as above, and you never replied back. (May 20, 1:31pm we received your message and at 1:34pm John sent his reply.)
Yes, you were asking “Is there anyway of checking to find out what would cause the above error?” and our reply consisted mainly of the counter question “What are you doing that is causing that error to appear?”, but if you had followed up on that question I’m sure we would have been able to narrow this down to one thing or another.
In general, we don’t see that error 504 “Gateway Timeout” very often, and we do have a lot of happy users who run WP-Lister on SiteGround servers, but usually this error is related to running out of resources like memory or PHP execution time limits.
If you had replied back, we would have created a staging site for testing, where we could disable all other plugins to see if there is some 3rd party interference, or if the same set of active plugins might even work on a different server.
If you have any problem with WP-Lister you should contact us at support at wplab.com (as you did) and answer our questions (which you didn’t). But please don’t put support requests in reviews like this, that way it can take a very long time to get a reply.

In reply to: [WP-Lister Lite for Amazon] Custom Meta for InventoryLoader Condition FieldThanks for sharing your solution, that is a very good use case for that option to create custom variation meta fields – we might add it to our FAQs as it might not be that obvious at first.
Just to be clear: were you trying to pull in the value from the “Item Condition” fields in the Amazon Options metabox, or were you trying to pull a value from your own custom meta fields?
Because if this is about the built in “Item Condition” field provided by WP-Lister, then I suppose we should make its value somehow available in the profile editor. On the other hand, its value should be used when that field is simply left empty in the profile editor, or isn’t it?

In reply to: [WP-Lister Lite for eBay] Screen Options seem to have stopped workingThis should be fixed in version 2.6.2 which has been released just now.
Sorry for the delayed reply, but somehow the automatic notification for new posts fell through the cracks, and I only noticed your report today.
That’s why we generally recommend to use the support form on our website for support requests https://www.wplab.com/request-support/ – or simply send an email to support at wplab.com. Both ways you should _always_ get a reply within 24 hours (except on weekends), which we cannot guarantee for on the forum.

In reply to: [WP-Lister Lite for eBay] OVerriding a profileI’m glad you figured it out. Yes, ebay shipping policies can/will override any other shipment settings. I assume you had the policy set on the profile level and were trying to set custom shipping fees on the product level?
In that case, we should probably have WP-Lister show a notice on the product page, saying that a shipping policy is enabled so individual shipping fees won’t be applied.
We will also write an ebay specific version of that docs page, so we don’t have to link to that version of the docs page which does seem to be only for WP-Lister for Amazon, even though the basic principle is the same.

In reply to: [WP-Lister Lite for Amazon] Reason for closing?Update: Both versions of WP-Lister have been restored, and there has been an update to version 2.2.5 for WP-Lister for eBay to fix some “Link expired” errors users were getting due the security hardening.
Let me know if you see similar errors in WP-Lister for Amazon 1.0.4 – I’m afraid we could not test every single action before releasing that version, as you can probably imagine.
We still don’t have any more information on what exact issue was the reason for the suspension, all I can say is that the latest version 1.0.4 has been confirmed to be safe by the plugin review team.

We still don’t have any more information on what exact issue was the reason for the suspension, all I can say is that the latest version (2.2.4 as of yesterday) has been confirmed to be safe by the plugin review team.

In reply to: [WP-Lister Lite for Amazon] Excessive Disk space usageI’m very sorry for the troubles you have experienced, nattyroy, but I would really like to figure out what happened on your site, because I can guarantee you that this is not something that should ever happen with WP-Lister, at least “out of the box”.
You say that you think a large “product template” and product images would be responsible for that, but I don’t quite understand what you mean by that. There are no templates attached to a product in WP-Lister for Amazon, listing templates only exist in the eBay version. WP-Lister for Amazon has _feed templates_, but those don’t take up that much space and you only need one per category, not per product.
And product images would only take up any more space than before if you would start with an empty WooCommerce site and _import_ listings from Amazon. But even then, and even if every one of your 650 products had 100 high res images attached to it, it could never possibly fill 8GB just with images.
That’s why I do believe that this would be caused by something else, and the only thing that has every caused excessive disk space usage in the past is logging, which is disabled by default.
Are you sure that you haven’t enabled the database log option on the developer settings page? That _could_ actually lead to that problem, but only after quite some time – and the database log is something that our support often asks users to enable temporarily to investigate a particular problem they are having.
But it does not sound as if you had contacted support, have you? It’s what I would highly recommend in the first place, but even now. If you send us a support request via https://www.wplab.com/request-support/ you can be sure to get a reply within 24 hours (except weekends), usually much faster. I couldn’t find any ticket about this, but during normal hours on a weekday you should have someone looking into this within hours, and it shouldn’t take very long to identify and fix an issue like this.
So if you still feel that you spend some effort on setting up WP-Lister and assigning ASINs, I would suggest you contact us directly and we will look into get this problem fixed, once and for all. We have users with 10.000 items and more, and nobody every had any issues with disk usage that was in any way connected to the number of products. 650 items is not very much and WP-Lister should be able to handle them perfectly fine, even on a less powerful web server.

In reply to: [WP-Lister Lite for eBay] Quite a few serious errors after last updateI still can’t find any support ticket from you (at least none that would link to this forum post), but I was able to fix #1 and #2 already and have released an updated version 2.2.2.1 (which is only a hotfix release for the settings pages).
For the other issues we really need to examine this on your website directly.
kind regards,
Matt
