Hi there,
We’ll update the text in the next version of the plugin to clarify this.
Unfortunately, that part of the slug can be updated but it cannot be completely removed.
As I mentioned in my email, I can refund the license key, not an issue.
Hello,
We received your email so we’ll reply there.
Unfortunately, completely removing the slug part is not possible. At least one word/character is required, such as “legal”.
Hi there,
The issue sounds like it’s a theme issue that can be easily fixed through a custom CSS added at WP AutoTerms > Compliance Kits.
In most cases when this happens & based on the theme structure, our “Links for Legal Pages” kit CSS may overlap on the site elements.
If you’d still like this to be fixed, please contact us with the website URL & the plugin activated so we can have a look.
Hi there,
You can go to WP AutoTerms > Compliance Kits > Links to Legal Pages and you’ll find the necessary color pickers: background color, text color etc.
Hi there!
Thanks for replying back with such detailed information!
For anyone else reading this message, we have 2.4.3 lined-up to be released soon. If the current version is still 2.4.2, contact us to get the latest version & test out that the error no longer appears.
Hi there!
We’re aware of the issue, it’s related to the PHP version. If you update PHP on the system, the error would be fix.
If you’re not able to update PHP on the system, please contact us so that we send you the plugin next version we have which includes a bug fix for this error. We’re testing it fully before we release it officially.
Hi there!
We would have appreciated getting in touch with us to troubleshoot the errors or opening a Support thread instead of a 1-star review as we reply fast enough to provide a fix.
Hi there,
Please send us some screenshots from where that choice of legal pages is. It may be that the classified plugin will not list all types of pages (the legal page has its own type).
Our email address is listed jere:
https://www.wpautoterms.com/contact.htmlHi there,
The Google Analytics option is only available for the Professional Privacy Policy. We’ll discuss it internally to make it available as part of the Simple Privacy Policy as well.
In the meantime, you can email me to setup for a free license key (see official website for the email address).
If you use Google Analytics, yes.
Great to hear.
We recently released 2.4.2 with a butfix for this error.
If you’re referring to the Cookie Notice banner, then you can:
1. Go to Compliance Kits
2. Go to Cookie Notice
3. Add the following code at Custom CSS:@media only screen and (max-width: 600px) { .wpautoterms-cookies-notice { display: none; } }
The same is true for all the other Compliance Kits:
– For Links to Legal Pages, replace .wpautoterms-cookies-notice with .wpautoterms-footer
– For Updates to Legal Pages, replace .wpautoterms-cookies-notice with .wpautoterms-update-notice-placeholderI hope this works for you! If not, let me know.

Hi there,
Sorry about this, we’re working on a new version to bring functionality that can add custom providers.
As a workaround, you can select any provider from the list (ie. Mailchimp), create the draft policy and then edit the text to be from “Mailchimp” to “Sendinblue” before you publish it.
Hi there,
You can disable the Links to Legal Pages by going to WP AutoTerms – Compliance Kits – Links to Legal Pages.
Hi there!
We would have appreciated getting in touch with us to troubleshoot the errors or opening a Support thread instead of a 1-star review as we reply fast enough to provide information.
That said, let me address all points:
– We do not slow a WordPress website in any way.
Our plugin is very simple and we use the minimum amount of resources we can to deliver the plugin: minimal JS, minimal CSS etc.
I’m not sure how our plugin can slow a website considering the above.
– We include a footer with links to the legal pages you publish. That’s part of a Compliance Kit we call “Links to Legal Pages” and we enable it by default as it’s a best practice to make sure your legal pages links are visible.
In no way we include these links without your knowledge. It’s also worth noting that these links are the links of your own published legal pages, nothing else.
The “Links to Legal Pages” Compliance Kit can be disabled any time.
– All legal pages published use the “wpautoterms” in the page slug that can be changed within the premium version of the plugin, that’s true.
Our premium version allows us to continue development on the plugin.
– It’s the first time I’m hearing that Google marks the content of a legal page as duplicate content.
Each generated legal page can share some text as they are part of a standard provision but each policy is unique.
Would you mind sharing more information where that content is marked as duplicated? A screenshot would be useful.
