Similar to me, website was updated to PHP8 and I noticed errors when trying to deactivate Comet Cache.

Something like this:

I think you misunderstood the issue.

There is no translation plugin.

One subsite is set to german and one is set to english. It is what I would call a “natural multilang wordpress installation”.

Thee country list is available in both languages. It is just that it looks like you do not match the ID/Key of the select field for country list, but directly the value. So that the issue is when the country list in the backend is in german (because that is the admin language) the country name is displayed in german in the frontend of the english subsite.

But if I switch the admin language to english and edit the venue again, then the english name is used.

But switching the admin language makes the selected country (when at first selected in german) unselected as there is no match anymore (as you don’t use the key but the value to make the match – at least it looks like that).

Just to let you know – I have about 15 sites affected by this error. I couldn’t find similarities between them, it doesn’t look like one specific plugin was conflicting. I may try your solution explained above, first I need to check who else is concerned. I still believe something is wrong with this update file. Probably the next one will come very soon- I think that many more will have this issue.

Sorry but in my opinion options like card-per-row = 1 or card-with=100% are missing (which should override your column settings).
Anyways, I have now overwritten the CSS manually, I was just hoping to find a setting in your plugin for that.

It does not, as the width can only be given in px and not in %. Also the value is fixed regardless the device/browser width :-/

It would have been nice to have the ability to control that manually. In this case it is a desktop display and it has three columns as you say. But the content overlaps some other content within the tiles as they are very tight and small. Would be nice to have them bigger in minimum 2 columns as well (just look at it, it doesn’t really look nice).

Probably the templates are not the same, but I would expect the templates to be copied?

@makkabi: my sites affected are running with PHP 7.4. So it is probably not a syntax issue due to too old PHP version..

I’ve got the same error updating via WP CLI…

There is Wordfence Security installed. The issue is still there when it is deactivated. There is no other member plugin installed.

Even with no pending memberships and I don’t click on any user but just select an action like “activate membership”, all the checkboxes become disabled.

There is no error in the js console or webserver log.

Just an example to explain that the current permission rules are give us some trouble.

– Free subscriber has access to categories A-Y
– Paid subscribers, to category Z

My customer now selected to a post the categories A, B and Z and was wondering why all subscribers could see the post content…

It would be very important to have a negated category..
-> free subscribers hava access to all categories and ! Z (This should solve the problem)
