• I use WordPress 4.3 and BBPress 2.5.8 on my website (DCJTech.info) through GoDaddy WordPress website-hosting. I also use the “TinyMCE Advanced” plugin.

    What I Want
I am unable to edit the TinyMCE files (plus, editing core files is a bad idea). However, I want to make my own TinyMCE skin and add/modify TinyMCE buttons, plugins, and tools. Also, I want to add, edit, and remove buttons in the minimal/Teeny editor.

    Question
What is the best way to replace the core/default WordPress editor (both TinyMCE and Teeny (visual and minimal editor)) with the WordPress editor as a plugin in the plugins (or mu-plugins) folder while still retaining compatibility with plugins and WordPress?
