For anyone else reading, all the strings are translation-ready in the code (in both PHP and Javascript files)

In reply to: [Joli Table Of Contents] Translate FrenchApparently it is possible to upload translation files to www.ads-software.com
Check out this page if you want to contribute and upload your file.
The sentences are correctly translated in the po file but the translation is not displayed in the editor gutenberg.
Could you give an example of translation that is not reflected in gutenberg ? This way I can have a look and check if this string is actually translatable in the code.
Thank you !

In reply to: [Joli Table Of Contents] Translate FrenchHi,
Thank you for your efforts with the translation.
There is a dedicated section for the plugin’s translation here if you would like to contribute.
How did you translate it ? did you generate .po/.mo files ?
Thank you so much!

In reply to: [Joli Table Of Contents] TOC not working when using on shortcodeHi Jota,
There is a chance that in a “page” context using the Oxygen builder, the latter works outside of the_content() context. This means Oxygen uses its own system to render pages but Joli TOC relies on “the_content” to actually work, which complies with the WordPress standards.
Joli TOC will work with Oxygen when the Inner Content element is leveraged.
I hope this helped

In reply to: [Joli Table Of Contents] great pluginHey Hassan, thank you for the review. Appreciate it !
I will have a look at the issue you described and bring a fix if necessary.
When you say you are using the classic editor for some articles, are you generating the TOC with the [joli-toc] shortcode ?
Are you using the Joli TOC Block for the other articles ?
Thanks!

In reply to: [Joli Table Of Contents] Load TOC with HEADING Block set to P or DivHi Colin,
Custom tags such as P or DIV for headings are not supported with Joli Table Of Contents, for all versions.
Cheers!
Thank you.
It turns out the widget support option forces the loading of the styles/scripts because the widgets do not directly interract with the actual content. That’s why.
If you want to fine tune the loading, I suggest you use the hooks I mentioned above and create your own rules based on page types or page IDs or anything that works for you.
Hey !
Sorry for the long wait, and thank you for providing useful details.
By any chance, do you have the widget support option activated ? This could explain why.
If not I’ll have to dive deeper into this.

In reply to: [Joli Table Of Contents] TOC not appearing on this postHi,
Thank you for letting me know of this. However this more of a workaround than a real fix. I wish I could figure out what’s going on exactly.
If you only need the TOC for pages I guess it can work but you may still have a problem for posts.
I’ll mark this as resolved for now. Thank you for feedback

In reply to: [Joli Table Of Contents] TOC not appearing on this postI am not familiar with this builder.
What you can try maybe is to increase the priority of the_content filter to a very high value like 100000 or more to make sure Joli TOC runs last.
Also try using the shortcode at another location within your page, maybe avoid nesting it too deep in the hierarchy of the elements to see if you get something.

In reply to: [Joli Table Of Contents] TOC not appearing on this postHi,
Are you using a page builder ?
Are you using a cache plugin ? If yes, make sure to flush it completely or temporarily deactivate it and see if the problem remains.
If you managed to have the TOC to work on other pages, is there something different on this particular page that could prevent the plugin from working normally ?
Thank you !
Hi there,
By default, styles and scripts are only loaded when the TOC is present on the page.
Did you notice the styles/scripts loading on a page that does not contain the TOC ?
If yes, I’ll look into it.
For manually disabling styles / scripts you can have a look a the doc here and there:
You could then add a condition within the function to make sure the styles will not load on a specific post ID for example.
