Ok, I had no other way than deactivate shorpixel, which is really unfortunate because I’ve bought it for its CDN capabilities which I can’t use now.

Having said the above, this link also have a Hebrew named file, but is showing with no issues.

EDIT: It’s NOT showing when clicking the link I’ve pasted above, but when following the post from within the site, it works.
I’m totally puzzled about this issue now…

PS: I’ve unlinked it from CloudFlare to make sure it’s not something with them. Also deactivated cache plugin. Still the issue presist.

Well, actually when I follow the link I pasted, I again don’t see the image and a jpg file is actually asking to be downloaded. So I’ve downloded it, but it’s a text error message showing:

{“Status”:-1,”Message”:”No file stored for this URL.”}

Can you please confirm if this is an error generated by ShortPixel?

Just to add some more info – the image full link in the site’s code is https://cdn.shortpixel.ai/spai/w_200+q_lossy+ret_img/https://www.thebp.co.il/wp-content/uploads/2019/09/?????-?????.jpg while the image link itself without the shortpixel addition is working properly.

I think you have some kind of a problem. Maybe that’s because the file name is in Hebrew?

Indeed there’s no such image, but if you notice – there’s a size added to the image (apparently by ShortPixel), 190×300. If I edit the post, I see the featured image is shown correctly, but without the size.

Can you please confirm if SP is adding the size to the image name?

I found the issue. It has nothing to do with the plugin.
Unfortunately can’t edit/delete it anymore.

None of the solutions mentioned here (downgrading PHP version or adding a modsec rule to be disabled in the .htaccess) works for me. There’s no way to save settings.
Before I completely dump this plugin and rate it with 1 star, is there a solution for that?
I’m hosted at A2 Hosting, and I don’t understand the author’s saying to check with my host. What should I check with them? “Hey, guys, I have a plugin that is not saving its settings”. That’s a joke.

Now that you’ve mentioned it I noticed there’s a new version from yesterday.
I’ve updated the plugin, but still get the following error:

Ok, final thoughts:
Bottom line – there’s no issue and this thread can be closed.

If anyone’s interested – disabling all plugins didn’t help.
So I’ve reset the whole wordpress with wp-reset. It didn’t help either.
So I’ve totally deleted the site from the hosting panel and reinstalled. That fixed it.

Sorry for the inconvenience.

I’ve installed OceanWP on another server, and it didn’t happen there.
So there might be some issue with the current site. Maybe a plugin conflict?
I’ll try to investigate more and advise if I have something more. For now it seems to be a problem in a one specific site only. Hence can be ignored.

Weird. I looked there before and couldn’t find it. Now I did.
