In reply to: [ecSTATic] bug: multiple columns for single day in graphhi Mike
i was using CloudFlare, but haven’t been for a while nowi’m flushing the cumulative db table manually – purging all data – and that hasn’t stopped the problem, nor has uninstalling/reinstalling the plugin
i would say don’t worry about it too much – there’s more troubleshooting i can do when i get a chance and maybe i can discover something

In reply to: [ecSTATic] bug: multiple columns for single day in graphsite is pretty low traffic i would say – roughly 130K hits/mo. total (bots, visitors, etc.)
the multiple graphs for a single day follow a pattern, but the pattern seems to vary – often each instance shows slightly less hits than the previous instance, but sometimes the pattern seems to start over again. something like this (i don’t have enough data to show a screenshot because i just dumped the cumulative table)…
17-mar = 150
17-mar = 143
17-mar = 140
17-mar = 120
17-mar = 120
17-mar = 118
18-mar = 200
18-mar = 195
18-mar = 190
18-mar = 185but there could be well over 100 repeated instances for a single day
i don’t have time to really troubleshoot now, but maybe later today

In reply to: Disable calls to fonts.googleapis.comI don’t understand why google has to be embedded in nearly every website on the planet, nowadays.
exactly, and the fact that WP is using it in default themes bugs me

In reply to: [Plugin Organizer] feature req: don't allow to disable PO on backendif one disables the PO JS globally, and selects the option to propagate the global disable options to the back-end (admin), and then logs out and back in, how will they be able to change any settings when PO is no longer available?

In reply to: [Plugin Organizer] feature req: don't allow to disable PO on backendPO 2.9.5
no problem, i just happened to globally disable the PO JS and i had the disable on admin/backend enabled also, so when i logged off and back on… see where this is going ??
just thought it might be a good idea to not allow PO JS to be disabled from within PO – hehe

In reply to: [BulletProof Security] W3C Link Checkerthis does not whitelist the IP/range of the link checker, which is what i wanted to do – the whole point is that i don’t want to have to mess around disabling and enabling default and protected mode.
i’ve been using BPS for quite a while and it’s always bothered me – i just think it could be more intuitive and the number of steps to preform a task could be reduced
due to other several other security measures in place, i decided to drop BPS. no offence
i don’t remember the exact sequence that resulted in the lock-out/https redirect, but it went something like this…
* install plugin
* prompted to backup db, which i did – this resulted in a blank page and i never received the email
* allowed write access to config and htaccess
* followed the rest of the prompts, enabling basic security, etc.
* clicked this on the dashboard: Your WordPress header is still revealing some information to users. Click here to fix.
* checked: Remove EditURI headerright after the above is when /wp-admin/ switched to SSL and i know i did not enable this, though i would admit there may be a very slight chance i clicked it accidentally
so far i can’t reproduce the problem
