In reply to: [Zotpress] no link appearing in DOI’s (apa style)We continue to have the same issue with the DOI links no longer clickable.
What we noticed was different from the old clickable links (showed up as red text) to the current non-clickable links is that it looks like Zotpress is adding “https” to the DOI- that’s not something that we added. I’m not sure if that is the problem or if it is something else in the Zotpress code that’s not working to make the links clickable.
Can anyone help us? This functionality was super nice to have.
I don’t code so I’m not able to modify the Zotpress output.
Thanks for your help!

In reply to: [Zotpress] no link appearing in DOI’s (apa style)Hi Katie,
An update on our previous entry about DOI links not working on our pages. All our pages using Zotpress do not show clickable links they all have “https://doi.org/” instead of “https://doi.org/”.
Do you have any suggestions on what we can do?
https://www.mbari.org/products/publications/Thank you,

In reply to: [Zotpress] no link appearing in DOI’s (apa style)Hi Katie,
One of our staff noticed that our DOI links stopped working too prior to the 6.1.6 update, and continues after the update.
The strange thing is, I have one page where links show up yet all the others don’t.
No links show up: https://www.mbari.org/products/publications/
No links show up: https://www.mbari.org/submarine-volcanism-publications/
Links do show: https://www.mbari.org/products/research-software/video-annotation-and-reference-system-vars/vars-publications/The pages where it’s not working, the doi number is getting appended with “https://doi.org/” instead of “https://doi.org/”
We are running WordPress 4.6.1 and Zotpress 6.1.6
Thank you!
Melinda

In reply to: [Zotpress] Any way to overcome the 100 citations limit in ZOTPRESS shortcode?Katie,
I had cleared my web browser cache, but not Zotpress. I just cleared Zotpress cache and all the publications are loading!
(we are on WordPress 4.6.1)
Additional issues we discovered are DOI links not showing- and our italics (species names) are not italicized. I’ll submit this under a new topic.
Thanks for all your hard work!!!

In reply to: [Zotpress] Any way to overcome the 100 citations limit in ZOTPRESS shortcode?Hi Katie,
Thanks for your sleuthing! Unfortunately, even after we updated to 6.1.6, our list stops at 50 references, even though we have over 2000.
I was informed on Friday, before we did the 6.1.6 update, that the DOI links were not working on our pages.
Here is our page: https://www.mbari.org/products/publications/

In reply to: [Zotpress] Any way to overcome the 100 citations limit in ZOTPRESS shortcode?Hi Katie,
Reverting back to an earlier version of WordPress is not an option for us.
Using multiple shortcodes to display our entire collection by year wouldn’t be a workaround for the 50 reference limit, as we have over 100 pubs a year.
Like ztucker, we are Endnote users with a Worpress website, and only use Zotero because of your Zotpress plugin.
I hope you will be able to figure this out for all of us soon!
I appreciate all your work with Zotpress!Melinda

In reply to: [Zotpress] Any way to overcome the 100 citations limit in ZOTPRESS shortcode?Hi Katie,
Not sure how much help this will be in your torubleshooting. Our institute updated WordPress (4.6.1) and Zotpress(6.1.5) on the same day, Aug 31.

In reply to: [Zotpress] Any way to overcome the 100 citations limit in ZOTPRESS shortcode?Hello,
Hello Katie,
I just noticed that we are having a similar problem. We list all publications authored by our research staff on a Publications page.
https://www.mbari.org/products/publications/It used to show the entire library (over 2000 entries) with this short code: zotpress sortby=”author”
Today I noticed that only 50 entries are showing, although I have not changed the shortcode. I played around with adding a limit of 300, then going back to removing the limit, and I’ve only got it to show a maximum of 83 entries.
I’m not sure when this change took place. We believe it was running fine right after the last update Zotpress update. We are running Zotpress 6.1.5.
Do you have any suggestions?
Thank you for an awesome plug-in and for responding so quickly to past requests!Melinda
