I checked your site and it seems that the home page images still use jpg instead of webp on the desktop, so maybe you are not replacing each image correctly. Desktop and mobile share the same images, So it should work on mobile as long as you replace it correctly.

For improve page speed, there are a few options to do so in the theme settings:

1. Turn off the preloader at Customizing -> Global Settings -> Preloader
2. Turn off scroll reveal effect at Customizing -> Global Settings -> Scroll Reveal
3. Enable Customizer Cache at Customizing -> Global Settings -> Performance
4. Load Google Fonts Locally at Customizing -> Global Settings -> Performance

For options 1 and 2, you lose some features in exchange for better page speed.

For option 3, it’s on by default, if you’re experiencing styling errors, or the style changes not working, try turning it off.

We added pagination support to Posts Grid Element in Yuki v1.3.19, which you can turn on in the homepage builder. It is also available in the free version.

Make sure your Yuki Theme is version v1.3.19.

Sorry, this is a styling bug and we have fixed it in v1.3.19. Please update your theme to latest version.

The free version supports sidebars. It offers sidebar options in 3 places.

1. Customizing -> Archive Settings , You can enable the sidebar for the archive page here.
2. Customizing -> Single Post Settings, You can enable the sidebar for single post here.
3. Customizing -> Pages?Settings, You can enable the sidebar for the regular page here.

Please note that if your sidebar does not contain any content, it will not display either. After you turn on your sidebar, you can edit your primary sidebar at Dashboard -> Appearance -> Widgets

I checked your site, but I noticed that you have not applied any background images on your homepage.

However, you can see the repeat option like the screenshot below wherever you use the theme options to set the background image. The last option is no-repeat.

Your homepage displays all your posts, and the “Disable header on blog homepage” option is work for this archive page.

Perhaps all you need to do is tweak the header menu to link the Blog menu item to the home page.
