In reply to: [WPO365 | MICROSOFT 365 GRAPH MAILER] question about error log wpoHi @dyin
Thank you for reaching out!
The WPO365 Microsoft Graph Mailer for WordPress can be configured to automatically retry emails that initially failed to send, as explained in this support article. However, this is a premium function and it requires the WPO365 | MAIL addon (see https://www.wpo365.com/downloads/wpo365-mail/ for details and pricing).
Hope that helps!

Hi @wfmargaret
For @redart599 we already checked this and here the email address in question was definitely not in the configuration. I will check with the other customer as well and start a new thread when I received their feedback.
Thanks!
Hi @wfmargaret
Actually, I have just come across another instance where my customer (@redart599 is also a customer of mine) discovered that Wordfence alerts / emails are being sent to an account they never entered. In this the email address is @archtechdesign.net. The first impression is that archtechdesign.net is a legitimate website of a website agency. However, the site does not mention an address or phone number. It also lists reference web projects that appear to be created by other agencies. I therefore suspect that the site is just a cover used for fake emails. In my humble opinion there is some sort of malware / scam that seems to send copies of Wordfence alerts to email accounts that are never entered by the administrator of the affected website.
Hi @muabusalah
Thanks a lot for your 5* review. I am sure it will help others consider WPO365!

In reply to: [WPO365 | MICROSOFT 365 GRAPH MAILER] Works as intendedHi @davidjs
The issue with cURL timeouts is a difficult one and most likely finds its root cause outside of WPO365. The plugin uses standard WordPress / PHP APIs to connect to Microsoft Graph and in some cases this connections times out because of:
- Insufficient server-resources e.g. when using shared hosting (most likely)
- Network connectivity issues
- Microsoft Graph’s endpoint not being available (extremely rare)
If the error occurs just once in a while, then you can (and I recommend you do) configure the (premium paid) auto-retry function that is part of the WPO365 | MAIL addon. See https://docs.wpo365.com/article/183-resending-failed-emails-automatically for details.
Last but not least, if you wish to further analyze this issue, you can – starting with version WPO365 | MICROSOFT GRAPH MAILER 2.31 and WPO365 | LOGIN 28.0 enable cURL verbose logging (see?https://docs.wpo365.com/article/214-enable-curl-verbose). However, this produces rather a lot of debug output. But you can – for example – try to enable it, send a test email and if the error occurred again, quickly return to the plugin’s Debug page and download the log as JSON and send it using the contact form on the website (do NOT post it here because of the sensitive nature of the information).
Thank you for your patience!

In reply to: [WPO365 | MICROSOFT 365 GRAPH MAILER] Order mail Woocommerce reply to errorHi @dyin
Actually, we are not alone: https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/answers/questions/1855228/graph-api-replyto-not-set-when-sending-e-mails?page=1&orderby=Helpful#answers
I fear that Microsoft has updated their systems and created a regression. I have also responded to this thread and everyone ending up here having an issue with Microsoft Graph API not correctly setting the replyTo property when using the sendMail endpoint is invited to press the “I have the same question” link, to make sure Microsoft becomes aware of this issue!

In reply to: [WPO365 | MICROSOFT 365 GRAPH MAILER] Order mail Woocommerce reply to errorHi @dyin
Actually, I am now starting to see this same issue on the wpo365.com website for emails sent with another form solution as well and am starting to wonder whether something changed how reply-to is handled by Microsoft. I am investigating this while we speak and will update here as soon as possible.
Thank you for your patience!
