@bootle if you addon then you should have a folder under httpdocs and you need to upload wordpress into that folder.

It seems that your localhost folder name is “parenting” so you need to upload all the files into that folder and run the setup.

@tony Mills you can,
1. create a folder name wp or wordpress
2. upload wordpress zip into that wp or wordpress folder.
3. you need find out if you have file manager at your free hosting. If you have then you can extract it by file manager. After extract you will have now another folder name wordpress you need to bring all the files from wordpress folder to wp or wordpress folder.
4. then run your setup and before run your setup you need to find out the DB host, DB user, DB name and DB password from your hosting account.
5. run the setup and it should all work now.

Hello Michael,

1st you need to take a whole backup including files and DB from old server and then upload it new server. After upload into new server. You need to edit wp-config.php with new host DB information and at your DB you need to change site url and home from wp_option.

After all this setup you can run the update of wordpress and other plugins.

Take a backup all the files under public_html into a folder name “oldfiles” and then take all the files from test to Plubic_html folder including blog.

As I see that you are already using a custom theme and name of the theme is “sord_architype2_sepia” and I can also see that “Town and Country Property Inspections” this title is showing at your site but I like to know in where you want to show your title and tagline?

when you setup database then you need to find out what is your DB host , DB user, DB name, DB password. So, did you created your DB name, DB user and password? For DB host if you go to your phpmyadmin then you should see the host name at top.

are you sure you put the values correctly when you make the contact form fields at admin panel? Are you using contact form 7 ?
