Thanks for caring. I could not check the issue in the meantime. I hope I can do that in the next week, sorry. Close this, if you need to.
    Best wishes

Thank you for your quick and friendly reply. So I am looking forward for a solution in the future, preferably integrating passkeys in the free version of WP2FA…. ?? ??

@styzer : Yes, this exactly was the code they offered. The text comments were not the problem, I deleted them already. But your code worked!
Now I read the documentation again and I realized, I missed the first step:

Add custom CSS class to your shortcode:

    [su_spoiler class="my-custom-spoiler"] ... [/su_spoiler]

After doing that, I put the CSS code in question into the Custom CSS field in the plugin settings (advantage of this place is, that if I deleted the plugin the code will be deleted, too).
    And now it works, too!
You helped a lot. Your code would work and I was forced to check whether my cited code was really right… It was right but another thing was missing… ?? ??
    Thanks again, mate!!
Being able to read and reading documentations carefully, helps. I will hopefully have that in mind in the future. Or call styzer. ?? <3

    @styzer
Thank you very much for your efforts! Very kind of you to answer instead of the plugin devs! ??
I placed the code everywhere – with and without !important – in any place where one can add Custom CSS: the plugin itself, the Snippets plugin or the place you suggested, too. The title is but not willing to change. Not in Chrome, not in Firefox, zero change of the font size.
Nevertheless best wishes and thanks again! ??

    Hello Janis,
your asking for the URLs was the right direction, the (only) plugin responsible for this mess is the Clearfy plugin, a widespread one to enhance the performance. I deactivated it and the items are vanished.

If I now tried the laborious task to move each item into the second level (unfortunately no way to mark multiple items at once in AME), this work would be destroyed in the next update of the plugin, I am sure.
So I will leave it as it is, seems, not many AME + Clearfy users are disturbed by this and it is only a minor error. …And a bit tired to report all that again in the Clearfy support page… perhaps another day… ??

But good that at least we know more now… ?? Thanks!

Thank you very much for your fast reply, that′s quite a support chat, great! ??

ad1: no, not that I am aware of, so:
ad3: no change (apart from bringing up the items that are hidden by me in the AME)
ad2: items that are not shown in the WP menu but in the menu editor: (German expressions translated)

General, Setup master, Erweitert (=expanded), Leistung (=performance), Components, SEO, doppelte Seiten (=double pages), Schutz (=protection), Malware Scanner Firewall, License, Widgets, Bildoptimierung (=picture optimization), Hide login page

Perhaps Rank Math SEO is – amongst others – responsible?

Thanks. In my comprehension of the term “contains” it is enough to name containing parts of something, of URLs or everything else. A bit strange.

    (@wppraesenz)

Thanks for your reply, I understand that.
Now I tried to exclude them manually. I used “contains” and the terms “bot, crawler, bots, crawl, spider, YandexBot, IonCrawl, Googlebot, bingbot, robot” and none of them were excluded the next day.
I certainly emptied the website cache after excluding them.
Is this not enough to exclude them? What should I do?
    Thanks again.

Thanks, I will use this. Lazily, I hoped for a general simple option to tick to exclude them… ??

Worked fine again! ?? Thank you very much!!!
You are the best. If I had not reviewed the plugin/you with five stars years ago, I would do it at least now. Only thing left is an update of my review…
Best wishes and please stay with this level of support. ??

PS. Perhaps you could open a thread on top here, in it collecting the codes you share here, so one could find codes without asking you or at least you could link to it in your answer – if this was lesser work for you…
    All the best!

    Dear Rui,
thank you very much, that works perfectly! Now seeing the open submenu I do not like the look… ??
It is very demanding, I know, to ask for more, but is there a way that the submenus always stay open, cannot be closed and so the ugly arrow to close/open the submenu can be totally removed?
I checked all the options, this support page and the documentation on your website but did not find a clue to this option. Sorry, if I missed something.
    Best wishes!

…same here, just saying… also all-inkl hosted websites. Every website is concerned, but only when backup is initiated automatically, strangely not, when initiating the backups manually…
I will use your “workaround”, thanks.

Thank you very much again for your efforts. I tried, but this did not change anything, even with the !important expression in it.

As a total lay as a coder I think the issue is rooted in the fact that the background is not defined as an overlay over whatever other item/pic exists in the Related Post list item – as now, it is dependent on the size of the thumbnail pic (see also the second item where there is no background at all because the pic is even larger). …But how this could be done in the plugin code is way ahead my knowledge… ??
But even now I very much appreciate your care, this is by far not taken for granted! (If I haven′t already rated the plugin with 5 stars a long time ago (nearly six years ago), I would do that now. ?? )

Thanks, but no, this is no option, that all makes Short Pixel for these images superfluous and for them there would be no image optimization anymore.
I wished there was a code that forces the background to have a fixed height, dependent of the text, but this seems to be no option.

    Dear Ajay,
thank you very much for your quick reply. I checked that and it was set to cropped image, even “hard cropped” and I did not change anything in the last two or three years.
I am hesitating to regenerate images – if even necessary in this case – because I am using the plugin “Short Pixel” which would then would reprocess all the thumbnails … and this service is not free… ??
