The post editors did not want the autopost function so therefore many of the plugins was dismissed but I wil give Jetpack a try.
Will it give the editors an extra button/checkbox so they can choose if that post is supposed to be shared to Facebook?
And will the cms look exactly the sam after applying Jetpack?

I have to strongly disagree with you. The less the one trying to gain access through brute force know(Password, Username, email etc.) the less the chance of success.

You may be in for a surprise. In WordPress your email can be used as well as your username. Do you give that out when asked?

User names, like email addresses cannot be assumed to be secret. You can try but as a strategy it’s flawed. It’s a component that you cannot necessarily control.

If you wish to rely on that then that’s your choice. As long as you have strong passwords then your user ID just does not matter in any security context.

If you say so I suppose it have to be so.

And if you worry about brute forcing, the are about a half-zillion plugins you can use to manage that. I use WordFence.

Good point with the option on display name.
Regarding how useful username is if you have a decent password I will always state that it is harder to gain access if you try passwords with wrong username than if you know it.

Hello.
The wordpress site I administer is on swedish so I do not know the correct term in english but if you connect with a smartphone to the admin sajt and choose to make a post.
Upload and attach the desired image. Set the post as image and then choose the desired image again on the next lowest option.
Hope that helps..

For me the solution was to choose the specific image on the same page as when creating posts on the lower right side. Then the post image became visible.
I guess that it is a filter function so admins can choose to show or even make another picture visible in posts..

Yes still same problem both with linked images and images attached when typing the post..
I have also tried to change some of the posts with pictures in to “image” but still no difference..
Btw. is there a way to send personal messages here?

Yes I have tried with featured image and without but the only difference is that with one post’s image is visible at the top of the blog area. If I click on any posts the image attached in that post will be visible on the place for featured image.
I have also regenerated images with the plugin mentioned but no improvement on getting mages in posts visible..
Is it only I that have this issue?

I followed all of your steps but still same issue…

Does anyone else have problem with images in posts not being visible?

Also I deactivated all plugins but no difference…

When I tried the preview it showed all images that was attached in the posts so the right images where visible then.
The only difference if set:””Feature posts on top of your blog
Check this box to display a selection of posts with a slideshow, on top of your blog.”” to on or off is that when on at least one picture on top is visible and with off no pictures at all.
If i click on a random ost it will show the post with the attached picture on the top of the page so the pictures are still attached but just not visible?
