BBpress 1.x was working great for me till I bought a membership plugin and deep integrated wordpress+bbpress+plugin….everything seemed to work great for about an year, then I don’t know what happened but the spammers just took my forum out. Akismet still shows 95% capture…maybe its was “premium plugin” but I’ve shutdown membership & bbpress and now back to pure wordpress.

ADDED MISERY…since my wordpress site was integrated with bbpress and Akismet never works with bbpress. Some bbpress suer which was earlier a subscriber now has hacked my site….
What a terrible mistake, I would never ever advise anyone to use bbpress….

Edit: I found it..but nevermind..I’ve given up already..

Unfortunately, I tried and could not find the import settings. Finally, I dont want to revisit bbpress again and then make customizations & create my custom theme. I have migrated from BBPress to vBulletin, which has got a great community,awesome mods and great antispam.

Yes, unfortunately I was using the 1.x version. I have seen the new BBPress plugin version and it looks cool but how do i move my current forum to the plugin version?

Damn! I guess I started too early..I am using WP Theme customizer in a theme and after 2 days of customizing the WP Theme customized, now only realized that it does not have a reset button. Any work around for this, I cant go back now..

point 1. there is no solution as of now, but I’ll keep this in my to do list for next version upgrade.

point 2. : Fade works perfectly well but you have to use delay between squares parameter instead of delay between slides.

we’ve scrapped 4.2 because it was too good and we had migration issues for our existing users.
So next version is 5.0 which is still under development.

?? not very well, as you can see… vSlider hasn’t been updated for a while now. I am trying to find some time out of my job to complete the next vslider version 5.0.
Just hang on..I try to finish it atleast this year.

Some new things which I will be inbuilt are:
->Video support
->Modals

could be a timthumb.php issue, try unchecking the auto-resize option in one of your vslider and see if it works.

The only solution I can give now, (since 4.2 is now defunct) is try a complete uninstall (from vslider panel) and reinstall the slider back.

The image url you;re referring to is not available so vslider is unable to pick the image. Please recheck your image urls.

The 4.2 version was a responsive vSlider version. Although you can download and try the 4.2 version for a fresh new site, the next vslider upgrade is a responsive slider plugin.
