I believe the video flashing is coming from the “Autoplay slideshow” option. You can disable it in the plugin settings (Settings >Video Lightbox > prettyPhoto).

Please disable this script so our video lightbox plugin can function normally.

@connectelevate, You can open lightbox from either a text link or a thumbnail image. Since our plugin doesn’t support popup from an HTML button, you can use a thumbnail image that looks like a button.

@dcurran, Please disable the “autoplay slideshow” option in the settings and see how it goes.

@ramf, It appears Google has changed their autoplay policy. They don’t want a video to play unless the user takes an action:
