WPtouch SupportHi mi5rapekids,
We are very sorry to hear about the trouble you had with the update. It is not the experience we want any users of WPtouch to have. First, you should be able to swiftly resolve the issue right now by upgrading to the latest version of WPtouch.
As soon as we became aware of the issue, which we admit would irritate us as well, we worked on getting it resolved and pushing out a release to address it. We should have caught it during testing, but the annoying bug slipped through the cracks. We apologize.
I also don’t trust any plugin that does things to the back end of my site without my permission. Shame, because otherwise this is a good plugin.
We can definitely appreciate that. Though, we can assure you that there is nothing nefarious in the code we added, and signing up for the newsletter is 100% completely optional.
We’d love to have a chance to earn a 5-star review from you! Please upgrade to the latest version of WPtouch and let us know if there is anything else we can assist you with.
Glad to know! You’re either running an earlier version without the newsletter signup or the latest version that does not include the issue. Thanks for the feedback.

Emilio Rivera
WPtouch SupportHi,
WPtouch (free) does not include support for WooCommerce. The only theme in WPtouch that officially supports WooCommerce is the MobileStore theme and it is only supported in WPtouch Pro. You can view (please use a mobile device) live demo sites of it at:

Hi,
Can you activate WPtouch on the site in question? You can activate it, but disable its display in Settings > General > Display. We’ll then use the preview theme URL (https://www.madabouthair.com.au/?wptouch_preview_theme=enabled) to view the mobile theme while we troubleshoot. This way your mobile visitors’ experience will remain unaffected.
Or you can take screenshots of the issue(s) and provide them here.
You’re welcome.

WPtouch SupportHi,
Sorry about the trouble you’re having. For now, please use the CSS below to set the color to white. You can add it to Appearance > Customize > Custom CSS when editing the mobile theme.
#header, #header .button-dark, #header h1, .archive-text, .generic-slider a, .wptouch-menu .menu-tree a { color: white !important; }
We have filed this to address in an upcoming release soon. Thank you for bringing it to our attention.
Regards,
Emilio Rivera
