I don’t intend to use the pro features, just the free theme itself. I would like to remove the mention of BitBuffet without running into copyright issues.

I had downloaded it from WordPress in the past, but it was removed.

Due to some technical issues, I had to re-download it, but I got it from their website free of charge: https://midmodesign.com/news/general/our-special-wordpress-theme/

Could you be a bit clearer with your instructions? Am I installing a new database for the clean WordPress install, or do I just replace the current database with a new install of WordPress?

Oh wait, I found the error. Turns out it was the quotation marks that got me.

How do I get to config.php?

And what happens if the correct database and prefix is the same as the info I entered?

Frankly, I’m at my wits end.

I”ve double checked and don’t see anything wrong.

I did make several mistakes with other users in the database previously (I’ve deleted them from the database), and I do have some databases that are named wp_w8f7xx_users and wp_w8f7xx_usersmeta

I actually deleted the admin user, so so much for that.

What would you suggest I do?

Can you link me to an article or show me how to do that? I’m new to WP so doing something custom may prove difficult
