thank you for providing the detailed error report. I added some handling that will hopefully prevent the error and released a new version 1.0.1. Unfortunately, I couldn’t reproduce the error with my setup. There might be a plugin in your installation that potentially interferes with this plugin.

It is not necessary to clean up your database, but I would recommend to again save the current permalink settings (Settings -> Permalinks -> Save Changes) to flush your rewrite rule configuration.

You create a new page or take an existing page to assign a category to the page. This is a setting that is provided by this plugin and can be made by editing the page. All posts that belong to this category will be shown on that page, insofar as your theme supports it.

There is a way to change the formatting, but there is no chance to support it with this plugin because of the variety of themes. To resolve your issue, you have to customize your theme’s template for pages. If you could name your applied theme, maybe I could help you.

Maybe the plugin’s name is misleading because the main functionality is given by replacing the author’s username with the author’s ID in the URL. The author base is just the standard part “author” of the URL, so that it’s not possible to change the part after that with this plugin.

To have the possibility to define individually what should replace the username, the plugin Edit Author Slug could potentially help you.

Thanks for your feedback. Le me say first of all that this plugin has been developed as very lightweight approach using existing core functions for dividing posts on different pages.

Concerning your second issue, it is intended that posts with other categories than the standard category are not shown on the dynamic post page, so that there is a difference to the functionality of standard category pages. If I understood you correctly on this matter, you have to assign the default post category to display the posts as additional posts on the standard page, too.

Regarding your fist issue, may I ask you which theme do you use? Because of this plugin’s simple implementation, it depends on the applied theme if and how the posts are displayed.

I tested it again but I can’t reproduce the error. Could you give more details about your reading settings? Do you have chosen “Your latest posts” or “A static page” under “Front page displays”? What theme do you use?

There is no shortcode given by this plugin. By default all posts are assigned to the default post category at the standard post page. To distribute the posts at multiple pages you can use different categories.

I will give you an example for using it: So first create some posts and a category. Edit the posts and assign them to this new category and remove the default category. Then choose any page for editing and assign the category to this page by using the option box “Posts for all Pages”. After that the created posts will only be shown at the page you have chosen.

I have no idea why it doesn’t work at your site since I tested it with your theme and there is no problem. Maybe there is an incompatibility with other plugins or the posts layout options. Do you know if there are other plugins that modify the post structure?

Could you give more information about the installed theme and the permalinks settings?

Yes, I use multisite and I already tried that workaround but it doesn’t work for tex files.
