Found a workaround. Instead of setting up the widget, we are now using the a text box with the rpwe shortcode to pass the arguments. Works as expected.

In reply to: [Recent Posts Widget Extended] Most recent update caused fatal errorsI had the same issue on a 2nd site (not the site of https://www.ads-software.com/support/topic/2-0-2-update-shows-missing-widget-on-backend-with-so/), no cache plugin on the site. What ended up helping was to rename the plugin dir which deactivated the plugin and allowed me into the backend. When I tried to activate the plugin from there, it refused to do so due to the fatal error. I deleted the plugin and reinstalled which fixed the issue. I am using the plugin Site Origin if that matters.
We are not using a cache plugin.
Thanks for the reply. Yes it does show but unfortunately it loses settings on save. Ex. We have four boxes that show a single post from different categories. If I re-add the widget and set it to show a single post of a specific category it works fine until I go in and edit anything in the widget. When I go back in the category is no longer checked so it defaults to the last post created.
Thanks, @misplon. Will do.
I am seeing the same issue. Also using Site Origin plugins.

In reply to: [Page Builder by SiteOrigin] Any way to delete cloned pages? It does. Thanks for the clarification. Any idea which table holds that list? I’d like to get rid of some of the items.
