In reply to: Custom Menu Widget Format QuestionSteve,
Thanks for you help. I updated to WordPress 4.7.3 and added the code snippet in the Customizer as you suggested and it works fine now.
I understand about the responsive theme – will look at using a new theme.
Thank you for your help & to Jay at HudsonValleyDesign as well,
Jim Forbes

ok – is there something else I can provide that would give the information you need to tell me where the right template and location is? ie template names of the child theme?

I already checked with my theme provider and they said that my question was a general WordPress question for Child Themes and should be directed to the WP Forums.

In reply to: Can't Log InMark,
Thank you for your reply but I did not know it was a theme issue. I will contact my theme provider for any further questions related to this issue.
Thanks again,

In reply to: Can't Log InThe problem looks like it is the theme I am using called Membersonic theme – a child Genesis theme. I was able to login by clicking on the link at bottom of login page that says “go Back To Webiste” but could not access the Dashboard or Plugins.
I changed the theme and can now see the Dashboard.
I will try and delete MemberSonic theme and re-install it to see if that fixes it.
Will advise…

In reply to: Twenty Eleven Theme QuestionMadhusudan et all,
Nevermind – I applied your suggestion and the Search is now gone in the Menu bar but still shows up in the widget areas so it is exactly what I wanted!
Thank You,
Jim

In reply to: Twenty Eleven Theme QuestionMadhusudan et all,
Thank you for your suggestion but I would like to have the search available in other places on the site just not on the Menu bar.
Your Plugin removes Search from the whole site.
This Search box shows up in the Menu bar when I don’t populate the Site Title under Customize so it is probably something I will have to change in one of the files.
Any suggestions?????
Thanks,
Jim
