In reply to: How to Automatically turn Links into URL’s?@otto42: This is just temporary. I need to meet a deadline to get my blog back up and running very soon. I am going to be changing these links once everything is running and when I have more time.
Thank you for that code, it really helped! I want to make the url’s open in a new window. How would I do that?

In reply to: How to Automatically turn Links into URL’s?@hallsofmontezuma: It’s because I’m going to have about 10-25 links in each post that I make. And I’m going to be making about 50+ posts in less than a week!
@boober: After doing some searching around, I found a plugin called MightyLinker. But it doesnt work with WP 2.5. Here’s the link to it: https://mightyhitter.com/main-page/plugins/mightylinker
If anyone can make it compatible with WP 2.5, that would be greatly appreciated!

In reply to: where is my .htaccess file?By any chance, if your webhost provides you with cPanel, you can access the .htaccess file.
Here’s the steps:
1. Login to your cPanel (usually: https://YOURDOMAIN.com:2082)
2. Click on “File Manager” and a new window will popup-up.
3. Click on the folder icon beside “public_html” and you should see a .htaccess file in there.
4. I am assuming you’ll have to set permissions to it, so click on .htaccess, and on the top-right corner of the screen, a small menu will appear.
5. From the menu, click on (not 100% sure) “Set file permission” and then check all the boxes. It should say 777.That should do the job. And if you can’t seem to find your .htaccess file because you don’t have cPanel, it’ll be best if you contact your host.
Good luck!
