    Hi,

You are both wrong and correct, but your email support is not really answering our questions, therefore we sent in that we need a response.

    Quote:

This means that we are not within the laws of Norway on any sites we’ve installed this.

Are you saying that we would have to manually change this on every site this plugin is installed?

If that is the case and you cannot fix this for us, we would have to find another supplier.

Then we would ask for a refund and find someone who can offer a plugin that does comply with the governing laws of the country.`

Quote from the other GDPR company stated that you are not even COMPLIANT in Europe.

The following requirements in the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and the ePrivacy Directive 2009/136/EC (ePR) have been tested:

bildePrior consent on other than strictly necessary cookies (ePR)
bildePrior consent on personal data (GDPR)

I’m worries that you are allowed to sell this as a premium product.

    Thanks.

Hi, we are on the paid one, so it’s even worse. Paying 355€ to not receive urgent support when our customer needs it, and not to receive a refund because you have to configure the plugin yourself to fit Norway in example. Not good.

And we just received a test from another GDPR company stating that you are selling something that does not work.

Your plugin does in fact not have only neccessary cookies in the neccessary tab, and they are not turned off the way they should.

So yes, it is not compliant and it should be illegal to say that you are. GDPR is no joke and can harm our clients if they are not fully compliant.
