I have the same problem on both my sites. It’s probably an issue that arised when wordpress was updated. Glad to know I’m not the only one. I hope this is resolved soon…

So you need to enable notifications here:
https://developers.facebook.com/tools/comments/?id=YOUR_APP_ID

Change your app ID to your app ID.

Go to settings, and add yourself under moderators.

Clarification – I installed plugin, entered the Facebook App ID, and checked “use open graph NameServer” and everything worked. I got notifications directly to my Personal Facebook profile. Then, I wanted to add an additional moderator. I (stupidly) added my FB profile ID , and the FB profile ID of another person. After that, the notifications stopped working. I deleted the plugin and reinstalled it, but the settings were still retained, and the notifications still did not work on a new posts.

I think doing a fresh install should do the trick and get notifications working again… but I don’t know which tables to delete….

I used the garbage collector plugin to find plugin tables, and this was what I found:

Yes, I cleared the cache. I deactivated both Fancy Box and Deferred Javascript, cleared the cache, activated both, and the Deferred Javascript plugin still prevented Fancy Box from working correctly…

Hi, yes, I have tried it with two standard WP themes, Twenty Eleven and the latest one, Twenty Fifteen. I de-activated all plugins except Deferred Javascript, and Fancybox, and the Deferred Javascript prevents the Fancybox plugin from working. ??

Yes, I emptied the cache, deactivated all plugins excepted Deferred Javascript and Fancybox plugin. The Deferred Javascript plugin still breaks the Fancybox plugin. :/

The shortn.it links do work with Twitter cards afterall. It doesn’t render them some of the time, but after deleting and re-tweeting again with the shortn.it link, it works.

Okay, I’ve followed all the instructions on the developers page, and so far, they do not work.

I’ve been commenting on Huffington post, which also uses Facebook comments, and the authors on Huffington also say they do not get notifications directly to their Facebook page, UNLESS they are tagged in the comment. The annoying thing is that you can’t just @mention anyone. I tried it with analog083 on his site, and I keep getting another person. I don’t know if it’s because we are not connected, or what.

I think we will all just have to keep checking back daily to make sure all comments are read.

Hi Alex, unfortunately I don’t know what you mean. Do you mean the moderator’s section in the Facebook Developer? I don’t see this section here.

I have added my Facebook App ID to the MySite WP Dashboard>Settings > FB Comments> Moderators …
