If the paths are stored inside separate config files(other than wp-config.php), then probably no, you might need to adjust those values manually or through search/replace

XCloner does not alter the database, so if you have any url’s hardcoded in your database, you might need to adjust them manually, XCloner does however replace the main site config url’s inside the wp-config.php file by using the wordpress RELLOCATE option

Just saw your post, and want to add some clarifications regarding XCloner, this blog post might help understanding why XCloner runs in an iframe as wordpress plugin https://www.xcloner.com/ideas/why-we-made-xcloner-standalone-and-how-we-integrate-it-with-joomlawordpress/ , i think that might be the issue of why the security scanner sees it like a threat

If you think it’s a security issue, simple move the xcloner plugin files to another directory of your choice and access it directly, you can also add a htaccess password protection layer to that directory if needed

To fix that error, simply create that index.html file, can be empty, and upload it to your administrator/backups directory

Hi there! The WP MU migration is a little bit more complex, the plugin can restore the WPMU installation files as well as database data, however it will only change the main domain name, if you plan on changing domain names for each install on the new host, you will need to do that manually.

Hi there! That code line seems to be related to the SHOW TABLE mysql query, please ask your hosting support if they allow you to run that query

As a suggestion, if exec() function is enabled on your server, you could try and Activate the mysqldump utility in your XCloner Config and see if it helps

I think it depends on what kind of hosting you have, if it’s shared, you might run into timeout issues, it might work however for dedicated servers. XCloner can backup sites of any size, the only thing it’s dependable of is the hosting limits regarding execution time limits, and of course, how fast they run.

Why not give it a try and see how it goes, and as a suggestion, try creating multiple backups by excluding the large folders and including them in separate ones if you get into timeout issues.

Hey guys, i had the same issue and what happens is that if you have a lot of subscribers to send to, the insert query get pretty big, so you need to edit the /etc/my.cnf mysql config and set the variable max_allowed_packet to a larger size like 10M

max_allowed_packet = 10M

and yes, restart the mysql server after ??
