In reply to: I have two different homepages?!?!I’ve just read that it’s beneficial SEO-wise to have parent/children set-up properly.. Maybe it’s not such a big deal though

In reply to: I have two different homepages?!?!I found that if I “stick” the other pages by moving them to the right that they disappear from the homepage nav bar. I’m taking it that’s not mean to happen by making them children of the front page?

In reply to: I have two different homepages?!?!Thanks Dave that worked, I thought it might be something quite simple.
Any idea about how to make the frontpage the parent of the other pages?

In reply to: I have two different homepages?!?!I really like the look of a lot of recent blog posts as the front page. If I could set a static page to do the same thing as when showing recent posts is selected I’d be away.
Right now I have HOME on the nav bar, that doesn’t go to the domain name, it goes to https://www.digitalcopywriting.com.au/sample-page
I just want the homepage (digitalcopywriting.com.au) to display in the format it is right now (blog posts) with the HOME link on the nav bar pointing to it (after I delete home, which was made from the sample page that came with the theme, hence the url) and ideally all other pages on the nav bar being children of the “homepage”
Maybe using a static page with a plug in for the same set up as if I select recent posts for the front page?

In reply to: I have two different homepages?!?!Hey Dave,
I’ve got it set to recent posts instead of static page. When go to my url it’s the page with posts displayed, the problem is that I don’t know how to edit this page in “pages” and also can’t make it the parent page for the other pages coming from the frontpage.
I set up a page called “Home” in pages (and had it mistaken as the parent for the other pages), now I realise that I have to get rid of that, because it’s not even the homepage.
If you know how I can have the frontpage with the blogs designated as the parent page for all other pages that would be great.
Also is there a reason that the frontpage doesn’t show up in “pages” or som way to correct that? Thanks
