I’m not exactly sure what you mean then, seeing as all the pages appear at the top. You could permalink to the page in a post and just make the post itself sticky, but that’s really all I’ve got.

I’d also suggest the SI Captcha Anti-Spam plugin. It puts a little captcha box next to the comment box which you have to fill in before you can post, which disappears if you’re logged in. You can also make it so you have to fill one in when you register to prevent bots from just making accounts.

I figured I’d better give the link to my test site as well… I added some gibberish to the tagline rotator so it would switch through a few and I could see if that was the problem. (It’s not as far as I can tell.)

When you post, under the Publish box on the right, if you select “Public” you can check a box for “Stick this post to the front page”
